Pro Match Viewing Security Volunteers
In this position volunteers will be stationed at various locations throughout the Target Center event to ensure the safety of participants and spectators by checking event credentials and tickets. We need five volunteers working in this position through the hours listed below. These positions will report directly to the security administrator.
Because security occurs over a long period of time each day, volunteers can choose the hours of the day they'd like to sign up for. We just ask that you volunteer in blocks of at least three (3) hours and leave no small gaps in the schedule. If you want to help but are not sure if your availability fits within the schedule, please contact Jonn Olson and ask.
What happens if you have a match during your scheduled shift, no problem. Our volunteer coordinator tracks all volunteer's matches to know when there will be a conflict. If your match is in the beginning of your shift you'll be expected to report for your shift AFTER your match. If your match is at the end of your shift we'll let you leave early in time to play your match. Volunteers will receive a reminder text message prior to your shift as a reminder. If you have questions or issues at that time you can text or call the coordinator back to discuss.
These volunteers report directly to our Security Coordinator.
